Enago’s Top Impact Scientific Editing (TISE) service is our flagship premium scientific editing offering, designed to support researchers in publishing in high-impact international journals. TISE goes beyond standard editing by combining deep scientific evaluation with detailed editorial refinement, helping manuscripts become stronger in content, accuracy, and presentation.
We are looking for experienced scientific experts to join our TISE editorial network. As a Senior Scientific Editor, you will critically evaluate complex research manuscripts, enhance scientific rigor and clarity, and prepare comprehensive editorial reports that guide authors toward publication success.
Job Responsibilities:
• Review research manuscripts for scientific quality, novelty, methodology, technical soundness, and alignment with journal expectations.
• Provide comprehensive scientific editing to improve clarity, coherence, logical flow, and academic presentation.
• Prepare a Top Impact Scientific Editing Report that includes:
a) Current manuscript status relative to relevant literature
b) Summary of major edits completed and recommendations for further improvement
c) Analysis of journal compatibility (scope, quality, and relevance)
• Insert detailed review-style comments explaining:
a) The reasoning behind revisions
b) Scientific implications requiring author attention
c) Justification for structural, methodological, or narrative changes
• Suggest relevant published studies or examples to support recommendations.
• Offer revision support for up to 365 days, guiding authors across multiple refinement rounds as needed.
Experts should have:
• PhD or equivalent advanced research qualification in a relevant scientific discipline.
• Strong track record of peer-reviewed publications (with h-index and citation record preferred).
• Prior experience as a reviewer for academic journals, academic editor, or senior researcher.
• Exceptional command of scientific writing, publishing standards, and editorial best practices.
• Ability to provide thoughtful, constructive, and actionable feedback.
• At least 10 publications in reputed journals, with several recent contributions in the last 2–3 years.
